This has been discussed a couple of weeks ago but I'm going to mention it again.

Part of the fun of this game is the tracking down of the location of the tag. I may not be able to go get it but I do like that part of the challenge. I know that Cloggy has backed off chasing the tag but he also likes the thrill of the search. Stoney has also commented on this.

Can we get a concensus around posting SV pics which give much more info than the original tag. Putting up a SV image within an hour of posting especially when some of us are stuck in work and are watching the clock for home time takes a little bit away from the game. I think it should be up to the person who places the tag to provide clues and no-one else.

I spent 35 mins tracking this last tag down on the interwebby thing but when I came back into KB, there was a SV pic and a PM waiting for me. I prefer not to have that thanks folks.

Just my thoughts but I would be interested in the masses thoughts.

Search within results is the key to a fast find. eg:
Search "carpet wellington nz"
Search within results for the telephone number "3890473" and there is the answer - took me less time than to post this

My sentiments exactly. I really enjoy the search especially so when I am not able to go for the tag.

In the background PM's are your own risk/responsibility but I think clues and SV shots are for the OP to put up if required.

wtf 127 gig...up until recently i had 3 gig which i never got near,i am on a "trial" 6 gig,but daughter has new computer so between us (esp the work i do on ggogle map???) maybe we have reached a data cap?

Im with you Hawkeye - the posting of SV jsut spoils the hunt. I reckon even the tag poster should only give clues if asked rather than thinking its taken too long my tag must be too hard - ill post a clue. PMs only i say if you gonna spoil the game with SV. And while we are at it - ditch file pics - hunt it tag it and then get another - say no to acc levies increase and file pics!

we have discussed file pics....new tags only and with discretion.If you post a SV (and if i do its to signal that i know where it is) make sure the SV pic shows no more info than the original pic does....public clues by tag holder only please.I do not want to overdo the do this and do that....the game will follow each players style so lets just play it as it comes.I have discovered i have reached my data limit...ussually we only do up to about 300 meg a day but one day lasttweek we did 1 gig...daughter recalls watching lots of music videos"but i didnt down load them"......

Ha 128 gig in 1 month and that was the sons reply as well. Block Torrent sites and the problems almost goes away. Cut his network cable with a pair of pliers and I got 100% success. It worked for me...

Gotta agree with hawkeye on the sv issue, I think it is up to the poster to choose what clues are given and when ,otherwise it can frustrate not only the chasers but the poor bugger posting a challenging pic as well.
