Garage Night Episode 11 WATCH NOW! KTM forks on a BMW

Hey Kiwi Bikers, we're back with our Anzac-powered show about working on bikes. This time we're grafting a set of factory KTM inverted forks by WP Suspension (White Power) onto a BMW F650 ... Have a look and please leave comments either here or at Garage Night TV.

I do like the way you guys do these. Easy to follow.

But never figured out why the need to change the forks?

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Wait until the next episode when they graft the rest of the KTM onto the forks and end up with a usefull bike.....

I have to agree tho, the problems with the F650 are weight, low power and poor ergonomics, so how a decent set of forks is going to overcome that lot I don't know.

Good video tho, I'll watch out for more.

Hi folks, the KTM forks are undeniably better and there's a weight saving too - the yokes/triple clamps alone on the BMW weigh a bloody tonne!

You can buy these conversions off the shelf for the BMW from Touratech but we decided to go our own route - cheaper and using modified rather than custom-made components.

As a group of tinkering bikers we just can't resist!
