Well I have been in LA since Monday and flying back tomorrow, have been to a couple of bike shops and met a few fellow sports bikers up here, seems like from talking to them out in the canyons the police are lenient on them and they generally turn a blind eye to them.
Could not believe it yesterday I was on my way to the office and on the same street there are two guys, one on a CBR600 05 and a GSXR thou 03, practicing wheelies. Got talking to them and they work in a bike shop nearly on top of where MTV do the pimp my ride show, I think East Coast Customs.
Seen a few bikes up here Ducati 996, GSXR, FZR. The weather obviously is too kind to them, all the bikers bar one I have seen wear just T-Shirts and shorts they do seem to wear gloves on the most part.
I was thinking of hiring an R6 for one day cost USD125.00 per day but only being here for such a short time and seeing the traffic etc decided against it as have seen a few accidents when I have been in the taxi.
Looking forward to getting back home on the weekend and hope Easter has some good weather for riding back home!.
