Its last yrs model; they're gettin sold off cheap now as the TZ4 & 5(TZ15) have been replaced by the TZ6 & 7(otherwise known as the ZS1 & ZS3). I'm no pro photographer so it'll probs be plenty enuf camera for me!

Should be useful on Adv rides with 28-280mm Leica lens!!!! Would have loved to have had the TZ5, 6 or 7 but just couldn't afford one, pushed the envelope a bit too much financially as it was!
    Cheers, Dave

Haven't ordered new riser bolt for RHS yet, might as well wait and do a bulk order!

Problem is my aftermarket bars seem to be stronger than the riser bolts! Actually its a good thing as riser bolts are cheaper than the bars!

Last Saturday I didn't even crash, just laid the bike down as i stepped off and the freekin riser bolt bent - on hardpacked mud no less! Shit quality Suzuki parts.... grrrrrrrr!

Hey dave are you saying suzuki make shit parts, maybe you need to buy a kawasaki. In reality it'll be the risers on top of the orginal risers you have to fit your bars, putting extra leverage on the orginal mounting bolts, that is making the bolts bend easily, the weak point has just been moved from the bars to mounting system. You probably get less vibration through the alloy Bars though.

    Cheers

possibly it was damaged from one of your other off's?
Also if its mounted in rubber cones they can twist in the cones and appear like the riser is bent.

you can get aluminum replacements for the rubber cones that eliminate this problem (and increase bar vibration)

Yeah LV Martin had them on special; lowest price I could find in the whole of NZ at £349.99! The Lower Hutt branch had 2 left in stock on Wednesday and Harvey Norman upstairs from them had already told me they would price match! So I went upstairs, got same price at Harvey Norman(even tho they had it at $470 in the cabinet on sale!) and got them to give me 4GB of memory and lens cleaning kit for free just so i would buy from them!

    Was well happy!

The TZ15(TZ5) from last year is nice but an extra $150 for a 3" screen, 1Mp more and HD video & a few other little tiny options, probs not worth it for me as i'm no pro photographer & won't be doin loads of manual settings!

    However...........

A guy just came round and paid me cash for my diving dry suit, so now I'm thinking if i'd waited just 2 days more I could have had a TZ7!!!!

    BUGGER!!!!!

Not that I really NEED a TZ7, but you know, us guys like to have our expensive toys don't we, even if we don't use em as much as we should!
