    What's the correct idle speed for xt 400 or xt 600

    Hey again.. Just got a tach/hour meter and want to set the idle at the correct speed.? Anyone know what it is?
    Also tappet setting for xt 400 ? Engine hot or cold lol

    XT660 is 1400rpm to 1500rpm if thats any help....

    Set your idle speed fast enough that it won't stall and slow enough that it will have engine braking when you throttle off. (1368rpm)

    Did you not like the idle speed that was on the bike when you bought it?
