Ya know...I love offering a customer a beer while we talk shit(ok...they have the beer...I talk the shit). Think that's gonna happen shopping for a new fridge? Tis a great place to work as a motorcycle nut.

If there is one bike shop in town and bike riders that need help that shop will survive,

but imagine if most of the profit came from a non repair side of the shop or that there was a high turn over of quick repair ( tyres and oil )

I got bored with tyres and oil ,

New Zealand is /was taking a few bikes from the auctions here ( for 4 million people that's not too bad )

i actually got OUT of the industry BECAUSE i love bikes .. now i have free time to ride them and i dont spoil my classics by riding the newest and hottest ..

i always said a biker working in a bike shop was alot like being an OBGYN in Hollywood.. sure.. you get to stare at Angelina's "Down There " bits, but just TRY to take it home afterward..

Lot of truth in that, dammit!

I see the Alpha motorcycles website is still up. Can you still order stuff?

I'm obviously quite reluctant if they have gone under. The wesbite says they are still open at Newton Road but I went past the other day and they are definitely closed.

I wanted to get an LS2 helmet for the wife but I guess not now. Cycletreads have some LS2s but they don't have the right size and they are not getting any more in.
