    Metservice

I've just about had it up to here with bloody Metservice. "Service" my arse! Despite our tax dollars going to pay their fucking wages, they have sent shitty wet weather for the fifteenth day in a row! Fifteen fucking days on the trot! What the hell are they thinking of? How dare they abuse their power like this? Don't they give a shit about the quality of their product? And they lie about it as well. They said today would be "fine" in the morning and wet later. And is it fine this morning? Is it shit! They've sent bloody fog, thick as a bikers brain, and the roads are pooled with water. Bastards!
Not good enough guys, not good enough. I reckon they should have been voted out at the last election...

They've seriously got it wrong, eh?
Here we are, in warm sunny Hawkes Bay experiencing yet another drought...we could really do with some of that rain....

Yep - even yesterday am, Arapuni Road had patches under the trees that were wet and probably have been for two weeks...plus fallen leaves etc etc etc...makes for slippery slopes...
The 90 degree left hander just west of the dam was dry though......woohoo!

Tell me about it ! Rained while i was out yesterday (not that i got wet where i was watching it fall) made the dash home only to slide on the ramp on the way up into the front room ! Near scratched my shiny new bike, have some wicked bruising where i used the body to save the plastics !
Time for some chicken wire on the ramp !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

    Rain. - what's that?
That stuff we've had 30mm of, this year.............!
Lovely riding conditions at the moment - even have to use the heated grips first thing of a morning now, but, blue skies, low to mid 20's, every f*cking day for the last month....it's a hard life for a biker over here.......

I have found the Met Service to be wholly unreliable. I've stopped looking at the forecast now when planning events.

And I see NIWA are about to replace there 10 year old "supercomputer". It was the fastest computetr in the southern hemisphere when they put it in. Now there are only two of them left in the world (a Cray supercomputer).

Really, who keeps a computer for 10 years that they want serious work out of!
