    Fly Cam One2

If a mod reads this could you add something like "who wants one?" to the title.. thanks

    Hi,
someone was selling FlyCamOne2s on here before i think.
so i thought i'd look more into it.

    Apparently they're pretty good.
    http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...motorbike&aq=f
    youtube search thingy

anyway i found where i can get them for

$132NZD (plus shipping, $12.50 USD) with out 2gb SD card. Which you can get for about $15 from most places in NZ

Says you get 30mins video onto a 2gb card at the highest quality, or up to 100 mins with the no so good quality?

Im going to order one for myself soon, so if anyone else wants one let me know and we can share shipping costs =]

With a size of 40 x 80 x 14 mm and a weight of only 37 g, the FlyCamOne˛ is the world’s smallest serial video camera. Endued with a knife-sharp look (640 x 480 Pixel during video recording and 1280 x 1024 Pixel during taking photos) and many fascinating features it makes breathtaking videos in sport and model making: Mounted at model aircraft it becomes a flying eye – at a r/c sportster it speeds millimeter low across the racing circuit and in sport the FlyCamOne˛ it records the moves of the skaters, boarders and bikers. Different video-recording modes, sequences and the pivot able head – even controlled external – open up new possibilities… After a day full of action the FlyCamOne˛ will take over the next job: with its integrated motion detector it will keep a watch over belongings in the hotel room and lets itself run as a webcam or external disc drive as well. ...no matter where, no matter how – the FlyCamOne˛ - makes amazing videos!

Would be nice to know how much video you can fit onto a 1GB card. No point in getting it if it only spits out a couple of minutes of uncompressed video on a 1GB card.

The battery has been OK - for what it is.

It does limit the amout of data your can record before the card does however.

Nice Reido. A KBer is selling them to help fund his racing and you decide tell everyone how to get them cheaper. Real nice.
I guess it serves him right for trying to profit somehow.

Surely you would be able to hardwire the camera to the bike battery. I notice there is a charger you can plug into a cigarette lighter and you can put a cigarette lighter on your bike if you want.

If he was interested in funding his racing he'd have replied to the PM I sent him a month ago. As he didn't, tough luck.

    Reido, I'll take one.
