    Tbam

just got the latest issue with DVD attached.

There's a short snippet from the Safari in the South Island earlier this year and Balrog gets about 10 seconds of air time coming down a hill. Haven't recognised anyone else yet but most of the footage is of traily type singles.

It didn't have the article on the Safari too did it ? Cos the last one I read had a few articles on the safari but not a dvd. It did mention the dvd though so wondered if it was left out for some reason..

Just surfing the TBAM website and found this extended footage of the Safari.

There's a longer shot of Jim at about 2:14.

3:44 is that that cunty wee corner on the northern end of Jolley's pass? Thats a nasty piece of work that one...
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

    Did ya see....

The KTM 640 Adventure there on the sand, the article about long distance riding....
It was the same as mine, even had the grazes down the side of the tank but this fella must have been tall, he is flat footed sitting on it....

Nice to see the bikes getting used for their intended purpose....

Man I was disappointed when I did not get to see Balrog doing a massive jump with 10seconds air time.

10 seconds is a long time.... But time passes slowly for BMW riders. Just ask gunnyrob.

Haha, air time as in broadcasting, not as in tyres leaving the ground. You'd need take off clearance from the local airport before doing that on Jim's GS.
