Darn, just missed it. Discovered this thread over the weekend while down in Southland for the opening of duck shooting. Was hoping that it would last until I got back last night so I could tag it on my way to work this morning. Never mind, but here is my near miss anyway...

Worked it out after all. It's amazing what you can accomplish with Google Maps and a bit of Street View. Although it took an educated guess based on the angle of the ground and distance from the Sky Tower to get me in the right ball-park.

Couldn't quite get the bike in the same position due to the carpark filling up, but it looks like I did manage to get some of the same cars...
