    Found it - Matakana Valley Road


    Usually this is a lovely ride, but the recent rains have caused numerous slips hence it's pretty muddy at the moment. Thought I'd continue the loop via Whangaripo and Wayby Valley roads, only to find they've been resurfacing a section of Whangaripo Valley Road so that was pretty slow going too! Ah well, it's still nice to get out!

    Well done.

    I went the same way as you. It was my first decent non-commuting ride for over a month. Even with all the clay on the road it was great to get out for a ride.

    Sorry I thought it might be the crappy weather keeping everyone off the roads last week!

    Clues:
    It's a lot closer than Matakana - less than 25km from the Harbour Bridge.
    It's on a highway named after a "corner store that's not lumpy".
