we're told it isn't too long a ride to napier so we're likely de-abandoning our detour through castle hill, further encouraged by Joe suggesting it would be a Bad Idea.

Just have to check the plug in the morning and decide from there

With the mind blowing acceleration and lightning fast top speed of Brown Fury, there was no way we were only doing 82km/hr along the motorway. Was there??

id say after i sugested not to, there looking for castle hill, which the turn off is on the way to castle point..
last i tex i got was at 2.35pm..
is so close to rain here.

Had a call at approx noon asking if my offer of beds still stand. Yep, no change there. So I was told that approx 5pm they would turn up...

Now its dark and I am getting worried. But a call and I know that they are OK. Stuck somewhere on a gravel road (???) and they found a hostel in middle of nowhere.

So they ask if I think they would make Gisborne tomorrow... right!

If/when they turn up I will update you all.
