Day 7: Why can't we just turn disasters off?

SO, riding in the car back to tauranga, nursing a bruised and bleeding arm and sitting sideways due to a grazed back, I think now is a good time to do my write up. It'll be about 2.5 hours...

That does not sound good. I have been looking forward to the next installments, but I'm not so sure about the next one.

    Rogue? You noob.

We'll be a few [more] days late to One Tree Hill now, while we fix the bike in Tauranga. What good bike stores are there here?

So basically, thus far this trip I have killed my motorbike, my camera and my cellphone. You'll be next, Andrew.

Ive always found Bayride to be pretty helpfull (Cameron Road between 3rd and 4th Ave), DMNTD is one of their sales guys he is usually good to talk to.

How much of a fix up are we talking about?

Boys boys... Where is that friendly cameradery I did see here in HB?

And just a comment: Nelson is in SI... It was Napier you went through.

Oh, and a second comment: You guys mention you throught you had got halfway to Gisborne only to see that there was 100K's left... Napier tp Gisborne is 213K's, so you had in fact done more then half distance!!!

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Going the other way though it always seems to take for ever from where you can see Napier in the distance until you actually get there.

    Geeze hope you're ok mate!
AND..... Welcome to "The Coast"!! That kind of shit has been going on for donkey's years up the East Coast (and probably will continue for another Donkey's year), the locals are used to it and most are pretty self sufficiant, unlike us urban dwellers who panic if the power goes off for a few hours.
Ok, we wanna hear the full story of what happened to you now!

Ok guys, look forward to seeing you whenever, give us as much notice as you can of your likely day of arrival and by way of compensation, we'll do a roast with all the trimmings and as much Monteiths as you can drink

Hope you sort out your grief and look forward (sort of ) to hearing about your last day.

It sounds like there was a lot of unwritten other things in there somewhere! I think you guys are barking mad and howling at the moon!

Crikey, after all that, I think any other caper you go on will be a walk in the park (filled with booby traps, land mines and psychopaths hiding behind bushes).

Do let us know how you guys are doing ... it all sounds like the movie "Deliverance" at the moment
