"This car" lost 45lbs between construction and first win.

Can't swear that win was it's first race, but it wasn't long.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

I remember reading or hearing some story about him step-by-step paring down the width of suspension wishbones or something, trying to get them lighter and lighter... until they snapped and the car crashed. `OK,' he says `we'll use the ones we were using before they broke.'

Dunno if it's truthful or not but sounds in character

Paint actually adds quite a bit of weight to a frame. I painted my C50 not long ago, and it has a relatively large amount of `frame' (most of it is bodywork, guards etc.) for a light total weight, so the effect was exaggerated and you could actually feel the difference picking it up after stripping it back then painting however many frigging coats I did. On a light-weight aluminium frame with those big wide spars you'd probably add a real percentage of weight too.

as an ex powder coater with 4.5 years in the job and having done many a frame, id say blast the powder coat mate and wet paint it, powder coat can be touched up but its a frame strip job, also dont forget bearings etc and grease in head stocks etc run out in the heat of the oven and can ruin a job, all things that make a difference in the long run.

    just my thoughts.

    Use better English.

You should have said "increase is the word you're looking for". And you're correct. You need to increase the size of your dick, balls, or brain. Any increase would be noticable for you, starting so far behind the rest of us.

    Kind regards,
