Today I was very pissed off to find at 9am my GN250 has disappeared. It was taken from Putnam street (Northland, Wgtn) between the hours of 1am and 4am. I know this because I was studying late at University arrived home and parked it at 1am and when my flatmate came in from picking someone up from the airport at 4 it was no longer there.
This absolutely sucks. I am a student, so it is the most valuable thing I own and my only means of private transport and now some bastard has taken it.What's worse is cos it was quite a old bike and I was just learning on it I only got third party insurance, meaning no payout. So now I'm stuck with nothing but a helmet, some other gears and a set of keys to nothing.
The bike wasn't in great condition and I 'd ask you all to keep your eye out for any thing that has poped up suspiciously.
The specs are: 1983 Suzuki GN250, Rego: 24MUK, sticker on the front wheel cover. It has recently had a new exhaust put on it which is a custom built thing, quite a bit smaller than the regular size and so looks a bit out of place. It is also missing the plastic cover with the badge that covers the battery and the left fork is leaking oil. The seat has been recovered with one plain bit of black leater.
It may not have been the best bike in the world but it was mine and I want it back. If you can help me or have any info I would greatly appreciate it, please PM me or ring me on 027 427 7768
Thanks,
Bevan
