You have the right wheel on the right end.....The pointy round thing goes on that linky thingy on the floor and make sure it is done up nice and tight, the round thing with rubber on it.....
Good work....
By the way, I have a free Oil filter for someone, Suzuki DRZ250 one, brand new, it will fit the 400 and 650 I presume? I found it in my bag of tricks, I also have clutch levers, but these fit nicely on the KTM and are a third of the price....Want the filter Mark? Anyone?
That is suprising really as most of the parts for KTM are cheaper than Japanese stuff, but the levers are very expensive so bought a Suzuki one and got a spare.....
i could refuel mid gravel,,,on the move...

You don't need to book for dinner, If you're going to to be getting in late it would be a good idea to give them a call though. Breakfast; just order at the bar Fri night.
Got the KTM back together last night, cracked subframe repaired, oil+filters changed, valves checked, carb serviced, rode her to work this morning... man that carb rebuild was overdue - she is going soooo much smoother now.
Cheers

Just looking at the distances, If I filled up with gas in Taupo, I should make it all the way around and back to Opotiki before hitting reserve....
that would take a bit of doing me thinks given the possible conditions...
Speaking of which, I guess the Matawai Gas station will have to brace itself for the mass hoard of Motorbikes arriving on the forecourt before hitting the Motu Rd...![]()

Wonder how long that will last.
