Not alot of info around for this one. Im going down. Think its SH5 about 12km out of taupo
I read somewhere it was on the napier-taupo road...but nothing more than that
as chop said, about 12km along the taupo-napier(SH5) road, left hand side if it's the same as last year.
8:30 sign on, 10:30 start would be my guess.
You can ring Darryl August ( Darryl August Motorcycles ) on 07 378 8342, or email damparts@xtra.co.nz if you want more pricing or more info.
Be a sweet ride, it's really nice riding, with a well laid out track, chop will be grinning all the way there from Auck's in anticipation, me, I'll be thinking, don't hit the trees, don't hit the trees ....
P.S. I know of a KLX450 for sale if you want it for Taupo chop.
yup Taupo is always fun! Are you coming down Nigel? I dont wana buy a bike! haha
mmm yep loooooooovvvvveeeeeee them!!! Have you got TXC now?? Do you know if Bennett is coming down too?
Picked her up Tuesday & had a quiet hit out last night, I'll have to replace the brake fluid ( suffering from a Waimiha national I suspect ), but was impressed, enjoyed it more that first time I rode it, got to remember nothing there off idle, but nice hit mid range & it tracks so nice, you can still cross rut it, but it just doesn't seem to move around like the KLX did, it'll take a bit to get more confidence, though 5 hours around a Taupo forest should get me used to it
, oh did I mention it's way light & really stable sideways.
Not sure on Mike, High School MX is screwing him around ( bloody nightmare how many times they have shifted that date ).
Youll have to ride it a bit harder than KLX Nige!!! Theyre a neat lil bike those txc's quite like a go on the 510...
Apparantly the start has moved to the old Iwitahi area 2k up the road from last year.
Bring your thermals.
Series prizegiving back in town afterwards.
