yea there a good all rounder. see theres so much out there! just go ride some or you may not end up with something you like. if you show the bike shop the cash they will let you take a bike for a test ride, they cant so no to money!

I'v just been through all this with a budget of 14K max. My shortlist was a 675, GSXR750 or GSXR600. Was leaning towards a second-hand low mileage 07 750... when i found a brand-new k8 600 for $13995.

I ruled out a R6 because they are more track orientated with most of their power up top and more hard edge ergonomics. I need a bike i can tour on reasonably comfortably and live with when trying to behave myself on state highways.

There are plenty of shootouts between the 600' on the web...

If you can find a good deal on a 750 it would be hard to go wrong.!

P.S.. coming from a 250, a 600 will be plenty so keep your options open there too and just find the best deal you can.
