You speak wisdom. I rode 17 different bikes before I bought my SS. The GSR was in the final 2, the SS just had a bit more bad boy in it.

I'd say GSR with loud pipes would be damn horn. Good real world handling, nice and quick. It seemed like a good bike to live with.

You got to develop a 6th sense for reading ahead and not just leaving your fate in the hands of lady luck.

my mate has a gsr with leo vince cans and there fooking loud, rode it and the supension is a big down fall to the bike i say, they reckon it has more down low power, nah has less than my 600 and fells like they just cut the top end off to make the weak mid range feel strong

It doesn't matter a shit if someone else is to blame... there are plenty more like her out there. *You* got to make sure they can't get you.

    Otherwise it will happen again.

Having ridden both a lot, I think SPB has it on the money. I currently HAVE a GSXR 600, but the GSXR 750 is definitely a better bike.

Buy a thousand and stop being a pussy.. my thousand was far superior in EVERY way to a 600 or a 750... and i dont care what any one says about the weight, unless your racing it DOESNT matter!!!!

unless im given a 600/750 i wont ever go looking for one again, i'll always buy a litre ( albeit my current neddy is 10cc short and a vtwin)

What i lost in tyres i gained in petrol and servicing costs The 600 works a lot harder for the kilometres...

as for handling, on the road and track my thousand was just as manageable as a 750 600... agreed if i were racing for a living and needed that nth of a second.. then yeah a 750 would be teh go... for us mere mortals...

buy the thou !!!!! makes ur willy look bigger too
