Thanks for buying a new bike and blinging it for me

You find them every now and again eh!
A low k minter with all the expensive bits on.
I imagine some dude riding his pride and joy out of the dealers and sticks it in the garage, jumps on the computer and orders heaps of bling, spends months bolting it all on and polishing it, certainly not riding it! then.........................sells it for a massive loss!!! WHY???

Not complaining his loss was my gain.

Picked up an 07 R1, its fukin brand new!!, Akra carbon cans and titainium Y pipe, cabon everywhere, hi flow filter, ohlins steering damper, crash bungs, gel seat, passenger seat cover, Rizoma mirrors, indicators and leavers, speedo healer, intigrated rear led tailight/indicators, rad guard and so much more, the list goes on and on. must of cost the dude $$$$$ all for $15,500!!! inc a spare set of new tyres!!! enough left over for Ohlins shock, race tech forks, power commander, a pair of paddock stands and a set of tyre warmers and dyno time and still no where near the price of an 09 R1 in bog standard trim!!!

What can I say but thank you dude

Yeah but it's 2 years old. No cred in riding a 2yo sports bike.

    Two totally different toys.
The 14 is an awesome tool, takes me to work and back every day, takes me and the Mrs for a holiday to the East cape or round the south Island and can certainly raise a few eyebrows from sports bike riders on road or around the race track!
The R1 will excel at one of those, it aint a sheep in wolfs cloths thats for sure! But a fukin amazing bike to ride. Last R1 I had was when they first came out in the late 90's, they've come on a bit since then eh!
