I'd be keen on a Saturday ride if someone else is - my partner wouldn't be happy if I leave her at home with the boy on sunday (mother's day). Plus we have plans.

WELLINGTON: Tag-o-rama
The 22 was in terrible shape a few weekends ago, I'd advise avoiding it if possible. The other roads Heatherington etc are all in real good nick though.
I've been doing a nice little loop up there where I ride up Rotowaro, left onto waikokowai, continue right up Waikokowai, straight on to Rotongaro, then left up Glen Massy and hook onto the 22.
Could use this route and then head on to Port Waikato
The Rotongaro road in particular is one of my most fav's.
Yea im keen either day, sounds good if the weather is ok.
Highway 22 should be ok by now, im the contract engineer incharge of road marking on WDC reseals, they were sealed/painted about 6 weeks ago, if there is still loose chip ill make a scene at work![]()
WELLINGTON: Tag-o-rama
I don't have gravel tyres for my daytona at the mo there Warren & on those roads i'll just hold them up
They'd more than likely do something like this

The competitors in the Possum Bourne Memorial Trophy Rally also contest Rally New Zealand’s Saturday stages, including the super special stages at Hampton Downs.
Complementing the two WRC super special stages, a whole day of exciting motorsport action is guaranteed – drifting, freestyle motocross, speed comparisons, handicap saloon car races, WRC driving demonstrations, tyre changing competitions, driver autograph sessions and much, much more.
