Anyone on the HBC got a 250 bike, more dual purpose type so I can take my restricted test? Happy to arrange something for the use of it for the day. Sick of feeling guilty each time a cop passes when Im on a huge gixxer or something.

HBC=Hibiscus coast..Orewa whangaparoa North of The shit hole commonly Known as Auckland..
can't help you with a bike but you can hire them from both bike shops on Barrys Point road, Takapuna..Its what i did for my full.
Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.
'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.
What kinda bikes do they hire out on BP Road, trail bikes? as I hate road bikesDont want to ride it far also I guess its not far to Orewa but still anything closer, anyone got a old bike around that I can use for a fee? Use my hilux surf for the day if you want! now thats a deal
Just a suggestion, try posting this in the uni mc club forum and offer a box of beer...they all have 250's and will do almost anything for alcohol.
Will do, does anyone know if there is certain clothing requirements for doing a test, got looked at kinda funny last test time years ago in a t shirt and shorts so not sure whether you have to wear specific clothing along with your helmet, anyone know what the test boys for full like?
Sometimes I feel the need to take the piss out of somebody for the sake, if it was in summer I would probably go to the test in jandals but given its winter and the frikken cold we have been getting, Im going to stick to other stuff, but I mean you dont have to rock up in hardcore riding gear do we?
Honest answer is I don't know.....call the testing centre and ask.
Common sense says if you want them to take you seriously you should look the part, it will make the test go better for you as they are more likely to cut you some slack if you look like your trying.
If it was me it would be jeans, bike jacket, gloves, helmet and decent footwear, assuming it was dry and raingear over the top if it isn't.
Good luck!
Yea Im just gonna go the minimalist track, dont have a bike jacket anymore but ill see what I can dig up, probably a hoodie haha. Now, just need a bike.
