The ones I watched on TV at Kyalami this week were doing OK.
    and second ain't too bad.

I never used to rubbish Ducati owners, I always regarded them as unfortunate in some vaguely unexplained way. Now I are one.

Heh, nice try, but I don't think anyone is ignorant of how much Ducati (*cough* tobacco money *cough*) spend on their racing

It's skinny, and I found that I slid forward onto the strangely pointed tank, but they're an experience to ride...

So, apologies to all you amateur mechanics (AKA Ducati owners) that I've offended by mocking.

Hmm, how come KTM can't get the throttle to work like a Ducati?

Appology accepted. You know I find that Duc's are well down in the power stakes on paper but something in the formula works just right and I don't have any issue keeping up with bikes that theoretically should be able to toast me. And the way it lays down the power its got is just bliss.

I see you have discovered the Ducati position. I even experienced it on a monster which looked totally upright. I'd even go as far to say that I find the tank position very comfortable and right. I have a theory that the position lends itself to the handling and that you use more of your body to control the bike.... but its just a theory.

maby on paper, but once you get riding its a whole new game.
Who was it that won sbk last year with the bike that weighd the most, lowest straight line speed and least power...on paper. japas are straight line bikes, dukes go round corners.

What would happen if inline fours were allowed to be 1200cc as well in WSBK? Would the twin make it up in the corners?
Would the extra power be usable power or too much (tyre wear etc)?

Ahhhh You can keep trying the SBK card on as much as you like, but given that they always alter the rules to give twins an easy time after Ducati has a little cry, it hardly holds much water... yep that's right, Ducati tobacco money doing it's thing once again.

You would be better putting their MotoGP championship win on a pedestal. Admittedly it's just the one, but at least it was earnt on a level playing field.

Well, if there aren't any tender bits there to squish, I guess you'd be comfortable eh?

Which makes them a girl's bike then! Oooh, very comfortable for the girles, I'd imagine...

    Its the Torque.

And the S4Rs position suits me just fine.

Steady on there big fella. The tank cradles the stomach not the softies. Girlies who own Ducati's have impecable taste but like the whole Ducati family are enthusiastic riders. Never met a softcore Duc rider EVER!

BTW If your after a batton measuring contest you post a photo first and then I'll do the same!
