Asian Style: things you see on the road

It was another hot south east asian day, I waited for a break in the rain season to get out of the hotel, and ride one of the many loops available

I then discovered this gentleman clearly having an unpleasant experience

Although the opportunity to assist was available I thought it best to let nature happen.

After reading the title i thought it was one of them racist jokes and you were going to say "NOTHING"

But that is seriously cool. Any idea what kinda snake it is? What country is this in?

Indeed welcome, and some cool picks too. You must have been enjoying the view and taking it easy that day to spot it happening. I had to go back to the first photo just to look again to see where it was.
Looks like a great road too.
I may be slow at getting things but..... no wait I'm just slow.

Similar to an experience i had in China a few months ago. We were out on some bicycles exploring the local villages and farmland when we came across a small snake on the road. I was rather excited as it was my first time seeing a snake. No one wanted to touch it but i picked it up and got some photos. I look 10X more scared than i really was. Honest Then this little lizard ran across the road . 50 metres up the road we saw a massive snake dart across the road. We werent so keen on chasing that one

For those that are interested, there is a movie called KVC (Komodo vs. Cobra).

I wouldn't be putting a lot of expectation on it, but that picture sure reminds me of that DVD in my local Video Ezy

Any biker in Thailand will tell you about the 1095, an absolute joy on any bike at any speed

No idea what species the snake is, or the unfortunate victim

There are some great roads and trips to cover in the Asian region, I've done but a few with various groups and a couple of individual rides

    More to follow, interesting site.

I think one of those reptiles is enjoying the experience a bit less than the other one.

    BTW
    Nice Pics!

    No I'm not Colin

And the BM is borrowed from a good friend as a test ride, considering a purchase

I ride an FZ1 but find it very "hard"

The GS range is extremely user friendly and to my mind the 1200GS is a fine choice.
