#11. The only thing that could have made it better is some smoke from the tyres and an indication that the bike had come through that hole in the fence...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

15 for me, can't fault it, sharp bright colors, no distractions in the background/foreground
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

#11 is good too. But I like the black and white of #13.

11 for me too. Is it just me, or should images that have been altered in someway with software not be up for judging? Maybe I'm just a bit old fashioned...

Are you referring specifically to pic 11? I know there's a pic in the other voting thread that's obviously been modified.

Pic 11 - Great angle for the bike. Good use of natural lighting. Nice diagonals in the composition

Pic 13 - The best shot. Would make a great product shot. Just needs a little tweaking with levels to make the shot pop but it's by far the best IMO. Tells a story.

Pic 15 - Great action shot. Great having the other rumble strip in the background so you get a feel of where the rider has come from. Technically speaking is the best shot in the bunch. Could use a wider aperture to reduce the DoF to make the rider pop.

I agree (but I would being married to the photographer) take a look at a higher resolution version. http://www.flickr.com/photos/3174452...87102/sizes/l/

The question says coolest photo, not best shot.

IMO - Coolest photo is No.11. There are many better shots.

    I wouldnt say natural lighting

Floodlight high up on the left behind me.

SV with the lights on high beam to my right to bring out more detail in the front of the RSV.

    Improvisation.

Theres another one using the SV for secondary lighting as my profile pic.
