One thing though - on a bike where would you put the navigator!!
At club level, your navigator is only alerting you to hazards - bridges, fords and changes of direction at intersections.Other than that, the driver is driving the road as they see it.You can buy "pacenotes" nowdays, which is more detailed, but still doesn't give you the whole route as such.
I haven't been round the rally scene for quite a few years,so I'm not sure if everyone has access to the notes or not,but I'm pretty sure the Otago Classic rally is classed as a blind rally like the old days and not like what is seen on TV -IE 6 left,4 right, long straight 200 into 2 right etc.

But talking to a couple of rally people today, they think it's very doable if you talk to the right people.
    Nevermind the Bollocks

I am aware of some guys who wait for a the rally cars to go through then ride the stage before the sweep car comes . They reckon the cars are slow & get in the way. Could be BS, but knowing the guys I don't think so.
