    Xt 550 xt 600

I have used the engine from an XT 550 in another bike and want to wire it without any lights etc. How can I use the original CDI for the job? Can anyone tell me what I should be getting out of each wire form the engine? What I can remove form the loom etc? Any help would be much appreciated?
