Hyozuki....the bastard son of an inter-asian one night stand.
Seriously, I have got to get me a cell phone and learn to text!
I gotta try and stay in touch with our grandkids, even "grandma" is ahead of me on this one!![]()
I sent a text to him. I text her yesterday. I will send a text message. I have received so may texts today?
I agree, texted is a crap word, and there is no plural of text.
Ah - we have the snake-pit up this way.
For made up words that are/have been in regular use in this household try;
deeups - blankets
fuffel bin - rubbish bin
ebow - pillow
Scribere , scriptsit. Therefore , text, textsit (texsit ? ) . Where is MikeL when he is needed I have often maintained that texting , and the ability to text, should be regarded as a fundamental human right and made available free of charge to everyone by the government. Nowadays I cannot envisge not being able to text.

I sent a message to Jim (the sports reader on the Paul Henry show)
''Jim! it's the Hurricanes NOT the Hurrikins. please be a point of difference (unlike those on another TV Station) where this is concerned''.
He replied... ''I agree, but the TV3 style guide doesn't. I just follow the rules.''
Then I asked.. ''Thank you for your reply, so it reads 'the Hurrikins' on the auto cue? all sports reporters switch from 'the Hurrikins' to the shortened version 'the canes' you're not alone. Rules can be changed Jim''.
He left it at that.
Pleased to hear the coach at least say the Hurricanes when being interviewed a few nights ago.
I also heard the ''word'' texes on TV the other night when someone was referring to send a text. ie: I sent texes.
