Be good when Burga is out ther too, by the sounds it won't be too far away
How is is watching Stewart running out front with a 30 sec lead like last year exciting to watch?

Now if it was Ricky & Stewart then yes it would be exciting, but watching 5 guys fighting for podium positions like they are now, that is exciting !
If a man is walking in a forest and no women is there to hear him is he still wrong?

As I said in my previous post "Opens the field up a bit but the pace isn't as quick." Stewarts speed makes everyone else step up the pace. Look at the indoor supercross series just past... Chad Reed has never been able to even run with stewart until this year, nor did alessi keep up with stewart until last year.

REED was never close to JS only 3 rounds i can think of that they actually battled but apart from that JS was still gaping CR by 7+sec

Alessi was the closest consistently to JS but still 17sec + behind him, coops was the closest with at 7sec gap i believe and that was only for 1 round.
So saying that Alessi was keeping up is false.... he was just the closest to him out of a field of 40.

JS speed makes everyone else settle for 2nd, if anyone can give him a challenge right now outdoors is RV, i know its only been one round but i can guarantee that RV will only get faster.

JS is just a freak of nature and the guy that will take him out it RV!

Going back to my first response, watching 5 guys battling it out for podium position is as exciting as its been since the GOAT left

i recon it's less interesting when you only see the front of the pack and hear the same names over and over... The MX1 coverage is better in my opinion... you get to see all the drama back in the pack and you can back your boy even if he ain't at the front... It sucks that there wasn't even a 2 second clip of coops in a 30 min moto.

But Villapoto is def the man... he showed that during the SX season... everyone knows he's the man outdoors... gingers for justice!

I'm with you Pierce, James is fast, but not a sure thing he is going to win, the odds are in his favour, I think RV would give him a good run thou.
but it is Impressive watching him race,
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Stewart isn't going to compete for the title unfortunately. seems like San Manuel didn't let him as he's on a SX only contract. And last year James got hardly any coverage as he had no one competing with him, I'd say Tim ferry and the others in the top 10 had more tv time then him. I'm just bias as Bubba's my fav rider. I get more enjoyment seeing him do things that are nearly impossible to do on a bike.

I wouldn't take Rd1 as the decider, I think there will be at least 5 guys in the run for the title this year.

Villopoto just seemed to kick it up a gear a few laps from the end. One minute he had Reed on his tail then 'BAM' he was out of there.

I'm interested to see how that new kid Justin Barcia rode in the Lites. I've watched a few clips of him on youtube and that guy is an animal. Always hitting the rev limiter.
