Best has been projector HID headlights. It changes the whole look and presence of the bike.
Good tyres, noisy exhaust, hotgrips, etc are great, but HIDs get the prize for me.

Good tyres.
Good leathers.
Double bubble Puig.
But my favourite of all,has been a stainless micron can.
It's nice to be able to hear myself when riding with others.
Oh....And a 15 tooth cog up front has made an awesome difference.
on both the bandit and the sv650, the best 'mod' although really it's just part of setting the bike up correctly for yourself, is getting correct weight fork springs imho. Even without emulators, it makes a huge difference. I got mine from www.sonicsprings.com which are fairly cheap, depending on the exchange rate.
Comfort would be replacing rearsets with adjustable aftermarket ones and a double bubble screen, adjustable steering damper.Performance,Flashing ecu, aftermarket air filter,Tre,front/rear suspenders, replaced calipers with Busa 6 pots/braided lines.Other would be bits n bobs like undertray,6 bolt clutch etc.
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
Hot grips for winter...
Conti's for winter and summer....
Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.
'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.
Some of my mods were already fitted when I bought the bike (which is why I bought it and not another one).
Comfort: Heated grips (I had to replace the original ones a couple of weeks ago)
Convenience: Ventura packrack, garage door opener button
Performance: Staintune highmount zorst, PCII, suspension (Elka rear shock, Sonic Springs fork springs)
Other: Higher wattage headlight bulbs, two extra horns, BlueSea fusebox.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Best mod ever? Quick turn throttle. Cost nothing to do, and takes the throttle action from 90 degrees down to about 55 degrees. Perfect.
