Here's one of two S1000's I prepped for Pete to ride.
Not optimistic at all & spot on ready to use as it is.
The two bikes were pretty much the same, but we mainly used the other one.
That guy hasn't had it long.

If anyone wants a very sorted & reliable track bike to blow their mind, that's it.
My VFR seems to be a goner, the price for that is absolutely spot on, I could buy it tomorrow and I want a track bike.
Will I though? Not on your life. I am too old, too fat, and too slow, and I foresee that it would cause me no end of grief.
The crazy thing is that the SV650's and stuff I am looking at are at or around that money, and the Daytona 675's... with their well known chocolate camchain tensioners..

Why do people do this???
I have 2 bikes to sell but you have to buy both. I mean fuck sake if you have 7k to put into old competition bikes would you buy Two PEs? Or one more competitive bike?

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Youd think huh? I've seen road race bikes and dad and son trail bikes with trailer, even a brace of Bantams.
THESE ARE MY CONDITIONS AND . . . .blah blah, piss off twatface.

Is it worth this much? Ok I think it will appreciate. If it was the forefather of a continuing range of hub bikes then 100%. As a dead end. . . And such an ugly one at that.
. Maybe not.
I rode one 15 odd years back a survivor of some Polytech that bought it as a trainer but clearly a poor choice.
It was great. I considered trying to buy it as a tourer. Was put off by thought a light crash would be major parts search headache. Bought an RF instead that was only marginally more ugly if far less competent.
Needed a de-cat and ideally a large diet.

And unless the reg is on hold, it will be dereg by now too... sure the owner would be worth talking to tho if you were serious. Problem with most collector bikes is that you don't want to be riding them ideally, therefore you get no use and still have to maintain them...not eveyone is up for that!
Only a Rat can win a Rat Race!
I'd buy an RM250. Remove Base gasket and 3-Bond. Reshape head and buy a Lectron. More power and better spread than a PE or an RM and still period. Add a flywheel weight and lights with Li battery and LED bulbs.
Spend remainder on suspension
Competitive VMX and Vinduro bike with more value and less garage space .

You have to give the guy credit for not giving it away
His other Harley add is amusing, mainly for the comments.
One mans Muppet is another mans Muppet.
I get that when you sell something in a flash on TM you may have priced it too low, but after a year of not selling possibly time
to revise. I suppose one day Jay Leno might just want one.....
I sold a 1953 Triumph Thunderbird a couple of weeks back and sold and paid for in 24 hours, I could have hung out for more but life moves on.

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
