Good to hear you doing all you can to extend your enjoyment of the ride! You won't hear anything negative from me on this score.

I will be interested to see how well the thing works out for you. I have an old neck injury that means I need a faired bike to keep the wind pressure off my head. Something like this may help.

A friend used to use one of those when he had cameras mounted on his helmet. Provided support and he swore by it.

I used to rib him about the fact that it looked like an old fashioned magnet and "does it pick up bits of metal?"

Used to wear one co-driving, helps tone down head movements whilst trying to read, plus you'll be thankfull you're wearing one if the unfortunate was to happen...

I'd have thought the "roll" part might have been at the front to support the weight of the head and take the load of the muscles at the back of the neck which must otherwise hold it tilted back .

Let us know how it goes. I'm always keen on anything that makes for a more comfortable ride over distances.
Did 80km over the Rimutaka Hill and back this morning, the neck nut proved very very satisfactory. On the V-Strom I have a pretty upright riding position and the helmet sat nice on top of the neck nut collar giving plenty of support and a reasonably relaxed, not much muscle tension in the neck. Could actually feel the comfort with slight head tilt back and side to side, when you can then notice the support provided.

    Heads Up and Enjoy
