I thought that nothing was allowed to open until 1 pm - apart from servos and dairies...however hxc works in a cafe in town and has been rostered to start at 10 am....does that help add to the confusion?

Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
[QUOTE=Wasp27;1024144]At the risk of being over organised and scarring people away............ I would agree. Stick is going to start the gathering of info at the ride on Saturday. Assuming we ride and people turn up and their is a spare seat and.. etc.....
I recon it is good to have some details. MSTRS got the group back together on Saturday with use of a TXT. Easy and effective.
Hey all
I really enjoyed the ride on Saturday, probably better than most of you as I was at 100% throttle most of the time![]()
While you would of been at about 10%![]()
YT - You are becoming quite the rider, I left for Waipuk on the way back first, and was pushing the old DRZ and you come into Waipuk literally seconds after me![]()
Good Stuff - keep it up
Great to meet the new faces, and welcome to HB Stickchick![]()
I wont be able to ride with you this weekend, as I am going on a gravel adventure, but will catch you all again soon.
I am also thinking of a Mid Winter Xmas Party too? Welcome to use our place - Have a think and let me know on a date etc
Cheers Scott
Dusty Butt 1000km - We knocked the bugger off what next?
Just rang the Patangata Pub...they will be open from 1.00pm Anzac Day and yes meals will be on as well. Could easily end up there before-during or after a ride..just a thought. Chook and Phillys shut today, so will find out tomorrow what they are up to...cheers W
I've learned... that to ignore the facts does not change the facts
Do you seriously expect me to believe that these politicians would implement policy based on nothing more than bullshit......
so whats the plan? You guys headaing south? meeting at the chook and filly? which is where? approx time?
Anyone got spare seat for me? Some of my friends from Welly were coming up but they have changed their mind now( All good if not I'll just wait till Saturday
Hi folks. I have my map book out, there are lot's of options definitely. Is the Choock and Filly at the Takapau or Bridge Pa end of SH 50, or somewhere in between? Is it open?
I have a plan. What say the Ashurst crew head up to Dannevirke, head north east to Waipuk via Hatuma as it looks like there are some some nice back roads enroute.
Meet the Napier guys at Wiapuk, have lunch there or take a spin somewhere else if there's anything around that way.
I'm equally OK with a packed lunch beside a lake or something as well![]()
Failing that, we could all try and make it one weekend depending on numbers and prior commitments.
This sounds good. We could come down to Norsewood Join up and go to Kopua Hatuma Waipawa Patangata. Lunch ? Then back to Waipawa Tikokino. From there we turn right and you go left. Off home.
Some one will need to bring a map cos I do not know my way around the Kopua area. I have done it and it is a great ride but I will get you lost with out a map.
Are you coming W ? If yes could you have a look at your map and pick a few roads from Kopua to Hatuma?
Who thinks they might come from H/B? What time can you get away? Subject to ANZAC day commitments of course
Can we get to the Hatuma lake?
