    Tell me about it!

I'm definitely too sick to ride. I have no sense of balance and a temp of 39.

Going back to bed. Sorry people.

No worries mate. We found the spot without you.

Left three sick family members at home (same thing as you) and buggered off this morning.

Nice uneventful ride (well once we got over the slippery rollerskate rink that was the takas this morning).

Good to put faces to some of the names.

Here's some pics at the corner (well up a bit from it)...

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Was thinking of you Jim, and others that couldn't be there this weekend due to racing commitments etc. Was v-warm and muggy once we got over the hill. Wet and miserable when we left. If it weren't for the reason for the ride I wouldn't have left the house till about....hm....now-ish?

Damn good to ride with a different crew for a change...and meet new people

What a spectacular autumn's day to be out on a bike.

I managed to burn $40 worth of hydrocarbons, round trip from Lower Hutt. That's a sign of a good time...

Don't let anyone ever tell you a GS500F is a slow bike.

Nice work punting that bike around today Ronin. Good cornering speeds.

Madness and Skelstar - good riding with you guys too. Perfect pace for me today.

I really enjoyed the ride today, riding at the back on my own... and its quite pleasent that early in the morning.

Thanks Rifferman for pointing out the fork seals on my bike need replacing and also got to get a new mirror. Good to have some people around me who actually know something about bikes

Thanks Ronin for not going on about my 6th gear too much

Well all the info I can find says that claimed 39.39 hp @ 9500 rpm and 24.59 Torquee things at 7500 rpm

The dyno chart is from a '99 with a vance & hinz and a dynojet kit.
