    in case anyone cares, we got to the first mark 54seconds (about 260m) ahead

    Would be cool if there was a live feed for this stuff somewhere. Would be easy to do on a computer... just top-down 2D graphics, showing boats and markers and wind.

    Hope they pull it off

    Oh I got the farkin things, thought they were all here, all over tha godamn place.

    Wow, pushing 500M, intersting that they trusted their tactics more than their boatspeed on that first beat. Wonder if the Kiwis found some new trick gear for this race...

    we took a minute outta them on the first beat....sounded like we got a freakish wind shift on the right side and Oracle headed out left....the promising thing is how much further we got away after that...out and out faster....

    Yer, hard to make direct comparisons when they're that far apart though, woulda bin nice to see a good tacking duel. Not at the expense of actualy losing ya unerstand...
