in order to appreciate a good steak, you should eat the occasional greasy hamburger.
Fark me, I've just had a look at the map. It's freaking miles to Whangamata. I had no idea, my sense of direction is appalling. No wonder I had to fill up three times today.![]()

I don't think I left anyone out there... just tell me if I did![]()
no problems, not a bad route, just too damp. With a shot front tyre, and a dying rear, damp roads, every time I tried to open her up, I was sliding around. I found traffic very good actually... its been far worse than that. I could climb whole hills with only 1 or 2 cars needing to be passed...
edit: I'll just leave out the part about being rung up, when I woke an hour late, and arrived in errrr... record time![]()

I thought I had a few before I left home for the ride, are they diamond shaped with the words Pfizer on it? I did felt it hardening up, but I was still slow on those corners![]()
Not a problem, I would let you test ride it if you'd asked - you looked like you could afford it
Yes, you should come out for "real" rides more often and not just around Queen Stha ha... nah all good, look forward to riding with you guys again.
You are a brave man.
I should learn to wheelie my bike, need more dosage of those pills I guess![]()

Good ride. Late lunch though!
Those wet roads weren't too fun with tyres that were well past their use-by date![]()
I was knackered by the time I got home, took the long way back.
Spoken like a typical "big-boike" rider.
You only need a 100 m gap to squirt through traffic (and lets face it, on those roads that's often about as long as the straights get) while us 2-fiddies need a 100 m just to build up enough speed to contemplate passing cages.Doesn't help when cages slow to 35 km/h on corners and then speed up on the straighter sections either.
