    wow.. feel the love

    Hey Raj,

not sure how people who not meet you can be such experts on what your like ?, they must be very wise and clever people.

I have meet you and found you to be an intersting, intelligent and articulate
individual. and have yet to take offense at anything you have said.

The "Fight Club " riders that have ridden with you are more than happy with your maturity whilst on rides with them, not a endorsment that is given lightly
and your membership was granted quickly.

I recall with interst that many have sought FC membership, but few have meet the mark required.

I guess its just good old KB at work, chin up mate, catch you at the next FC rendezyous.

Remember folks, is only internet !

and sAslex.. i take offense at the 'America having no culture" crack..

we have a 'different' culture than you do.. thats all.., with you being military, i would assume you have worked closely with some of my brothers and would know that my government is NOT representative of my people. .. go to Indiana, Ohio, Montana or Colorado and hook up with some 'REAL' Americans.. have a few cold Budweisers and a slice of pie and then tell me we have "no culture''

we are for the most part, very patriotic, have strong family ties, we love the same things you do and we sometimes disagree with our government.

pick a town anywhere in the US on a friday night .. go to a high school football game.. tell me we have no culture ..

Memorial day anywhere in the US.. go to a parade and tell me we have no culture.

go check out New Orleans, Cincinnati, Indianapolis or Denver.. tell me we have no culture.

we have dedicated race tracks, some of the best universities in the world, great regional foods ( mmmm.. GUMBO..) and vibrant arts and sciences and we are sports mad (NFL, NBA, baseball..NHL..) ( we play Rugby better than you guys play Ice Hockey)

its not all Disneyland, fake tits and Strip Malls bro... turn off the TV for 20 minutes

Raj.. i am "assuming" that you do a lot of business through Email and TXT.. now .. correct me if i am wrong, but i tend to write like i speak and Vise Versa.. it becomes habit and second nature

from what you posted earlier.. you seem to be intelligent and hard working. but if i were a client of yours, and through a lapse in concentration or whatever, and i got an email with the slightest HINT of "urban" .. i wouldnt be a client of yours much longer. like it or not, the TXT/ Urban slang bullshit is a sign of laziness and low breeding.

    I assume you are neither.

Ok so Ill admit I dont slander the language when Im in my shirt and tie and sitting before me in atmost trepedation is a v wealthy businessman and his wife and their french poodle. I just did it here coz I dont like to sound phylosophical and totally articulate all the time. Humour is a big part of me and I feel its v necesarry to live a good healthy life. I agree Sarge, aside from the one off brooklyn experience I had a long time ago the only other 'gheto' so to speak, that I lived in was good ol' Beachhaven LOL. No Im no ganster/rap/wannaby. Au contraire, I admire the finer arts and happen so sketch as a hobby as well. I even listne to classical music and meditate... (dont judge me it helps me relax). Ofcause when at work a professional ettiquette is mandatory. And no I wasnt hired because I had the best suit at the interview either....Im sure I thought I saw an armani there at one stage. No offence meant and none taken guys... I'd love to meet some of u and maybe we could discuss economics or something equally intellectually arrousing.

Raj, For what its worth, this post is your best in this thread so far.
A little bit of slang/street speak is OK, but it does wear thin pretty quick.

mate .. ask around .. i am a hard man and i dont suffer fools lightly.. i wont ever blow sunshine up your ass for any reason whatsoever. some of the best loved members here are witty, articulate and philosophical ( Ixion, Motu, Big Dave, etc) and they are individuals

i , myself listen to Classical music at times, as well as a good dose of Led Zep and Black Sabbath..

it jut gets under my skin when i see bright , young people try and impress their peers by trying to be a freakin clone of everyone else ( the clothing, language etc..) I have always prided myself on bucking the trends.. i will go out of my way to avoid the "coolest" clothing etc and dont think there has ben anything fresh or new in music since the early 80's ( everything is a #$%^ sample of Atomic Dog or some cool old Police riff)

be yourself mate .. dont stoop to that level.. you seem to have it going on

individualism is cooler than being a sheeple

    flaunt it

Mimicking trends from the USA or Britain? Or anywhere else for the matter, is not a new phenonema. Go back to the '40's when the US servicemen were here to support NZ during WW2, or the 50's - Rock and Roll (slicked back hair, brothel Creepers, 'Daddy-O', 'cat' etc). Even 'flower power' during the 60's - basically out of San Francisco but it spread around the world, along with the slang 'language it ushered in. And it came here too. Kiwi's in their thousands sounding like Yanks, or British popstars. It wasn't a big deal then though......
I think the issue here is that this 'Yo' culture is linked with Black Americans, and in particular street gangs (bloods/crips etc) and the violence they espouse. That's not so great, but Raj isn't one of those for sure.
Raj is just a young fella - actually a nice one, and probably has a few mates who like to jive talk as well.
Give him a break, I've met him and think he's alright. I've had a laugh on this thread (sorry Raj, just taking the piss with my earlier yo momma post) but if he wants to talk or type like a gangbanger, why the hell can't he?
I've seen over 40 summers on this planet, and I believe people have the right to express themselves as they see fit.

Howsit Raj, i've met you in person before and you're a good guy. Gotta admit it was pretty crackup seeing you riding a new R6 in full leathers etc and then having running shoes on instead of boots! You even let me ride your bike for a bit (yes it was me!).

As i'm sure you know, KB is a lot about comparing dick size unfortunately. If you are acting in a way slightly off what the 'majority' like to prefer then you will get flamed accordingly (unfortunately). I know that when i read your 07 R1 post that i was in a mood such that i felt like biting at every piece of bait you feed me, all in good humour, and not personal by any means.

There is a lot to be learnt from KB behind all the bullshit that appears as the face of the website. Im sure you learnt a fair bit from me when i was having a go at your technical n00bness in the other thread.

Best thing to do is to get out and ride, team up with guys willing to help you out and teach you to be more confident and competent rider and you will go a long way... being invited to the FC rides is already a good start - you've already gone further than I have.

Guess you've had your harsh introduction now, so get involved and feed it back to the trolls, if it gets personal then shrug it off and never take anything here to seriously.

Enjoy your bike dude, might be on one soon if luck goes my way... here's hoping!

I agree BIGBOSSMAN....F@#k there are some stuck up, dick up there arse, pompous wankers that lurk around Kiwibiker! I have met Raj too and he's a bloody good bloke (so much so that I bought him a beer)! Sure he may say things that dig himself into a hole every now and then but who cares??? Really? In the short time I have been on kiwibiker I have come to the conclusion that the young fellas that post here are generally the better of the bunch (Your included in that Raj). The long term posters seem to take it upon themselves to insist everyone agrees with them or go about bashing those that don't - obviously this is stereotyping on my behalf and I apologize to those who are long term posters who aren't the wankers I'm referring to. But Gees fellas (and felleresses) get over it...if you don't like a thread someone has started you don't need to be there???

peace out nigga!(oh did he say the 'n' word!)

Im real glad to hear that Dave, and if in the future I do happen to say something that offends u, know this, I think ur a fukin kewl dude, who helps others without thinking about himself. What u do for a living itself commands respect. Putting ur life at risk for others cannot be categorised as anything but selfless. U have gone out of ur way many a time to help me even though u didnt even know me. Feelings that those actions evoke cannot easily be put into words and are better understood when reciprocated. I can just hope to still be as considerate of others as u r, when I get to ur age/experience. U shd c the number of pm's I have got tellin me what a fukin awesome guy u r, n how da fuk did I make it into Fight Club ( i told them i held the longest wheelie!) LOL no shit. Im sure others who know u will also gladly second my thoughts. Cheers to ya bro. gooo fightclub
