    looks cool dude, I have same camera, I have an issue with the vibrations I have made a small ali bracket from the top clamp. How have you cured the vibrations??? any special mounting?

    saul is da man.. fill battery housing with speshal material ( vaseline or petroleum jelly.. or similar ) shove cardboard or rubber behind teh memory card to keep good contact and put cloth around the mount point before mounting the camera vice.

    I use re-chargeables so just put sellotape around the cells so the batteries dont move side to side.

    premiere needs a lot of memory on its own so if your running vista as well then you'll probably need about 3 gig of memory oh well.. theres some other uselfull shit on there too bro!
