Pegasus and I arrived at the BP early today. Probably around the same time NZSarge was making his last KB post in Dannevegas.
BR arrived right after us on the VTR, so we got chatting about exhausts while we waited for Sarge waited for Sarge waited for Sarge.........................
Anyway I thought I'd check my phone and wadda ya knowRight.......off to the Black Stump in Pahiatua at rocket VL pace. Great ride and arrived at the Stump to wait for Sarge wait for Sarge wait for Sarge....................
Oh look its SargeNice stop for lunch and a thimble of coffee and we were off toward the Saddle. BR set a nice relaxed pace and we made it over the slippery Saddle one at a time.
All carried on to Palmy where BR peeled offand the 3 remaining headed for coffee. Parked up in the Square and who should rock by, but Al on the shiney black Tiger. After dismounting he disclosed the best kept secret of the day
"Happy birthday Tracy"! After coffee for all and a lot of shit talking, it was time to head home.
