Your just looking to clock up some low speed stuff to keep the average speed reading from attracting unwanted attention from the over the weekend.

Honest Officer I couldn't have been going that fast look my average speeds only been ....

.... back in green and feeling great ....

Right, report back time. What a brisk evening it was last night - perfect riding weather - (where were you pansies? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O88k4i6pF1A ) - I am sure you all hand really good excuses :tui:

Still it was a decent turn out, there was BMW Leader guy, Old school CBR (I think) guy, Street Triple guy, Hyosang 250R guy, my Ducatti mate and Thumper. You couldn't ask for a more diverse crowd - and what a bunch of nice blokes. (Names of the innocent have been changed because I am terrible with names - no offense)

See set off into the night with 250 guy leading soon we hit some nice roads It was mostly dry but occasionally there was some darker patches of road on the corners. Being new on Thumper, it was er, thrilling to say the lease, especially when I didn't know the roads

Although it was cold there wasn't time to think about that as I was concentrating hard on braking, the road surface, making usr I didn't rear end the 250 guy and staying alive. Also looked out for but they must have been hiding well in the cold night.

After some brisk riding, we stopped for a stretch to get some life into the fingers and drool over heated grips. When we were starting up Thumper gave me a scare, she wouldn't stat - but just displayed a red light with 'CHECK' on the consul Ooh no! called over Street Tipple guy who used to have an SV and we soon discovered I had left it in gear - she had to be in neutral to start :slap:

Another short jaunt through to Africa cafe where we met up with KTM Motard guy and unknow cage driving guy for a nice dark ale and some grub and swapped war stories.

Good stuff! See you next week if its not too cold

Hmmmm, hadnt thought of that, but if the cop was to accept my average speed he would no doubt be interested in looking at my max speed as well. I did go out and buy some heated grips today and they are all fitted up to the bike now. My hands were last night

Street Triple gut here, good to meet you guys last night.

For future reference I refer you to the 422 pages of shit that is the epic ATNR Thread (and that 422 pages does include the stuff that has been moved to PD of the last 3 odd years)

Did you get some for me?
... or did my imploration for purchase on my behalf fall on deaf (uncaring) ears?

I deduced, that since I have not heard from you, my earnest supplication was in vain.
Perhaps the cold had got to your auditory appendages as well.

I'll have to get some TALK LOUDER pills. Or maybe a key-chain ball-pein hammer with which to hammer home messages to the less receptive members of my acquaintance.

I know you just want to gloat when you arrive at Turangi all toastie warm and I arrive as frigid as the wife of a little man.

I suppose we can both wish for an absence of earthquakes while we are there. That should cheer me up.

Oh! and if you bring a sticky lid tube of Berocca that could really make me happiness filled. Fuck the heated grips; a repeat of your hung over performance from last year will melt any feelings of resentment, rejection, jealousy. That scene still makes me smile...
    Thanks for the entertainment.

O'er many a frozen, many a fiery Alp, / Rocks, caves, lakes, fens, bogs, dens, and shades of death.we shall ride to Turangi.
    Pumba warm, Hinny frozen!
