Looks like it will be fine in a month.
    Some great bike shops there.
Theres a road with all the franchises in it including Ducati/Triumph/KTM/Jap just out in a suburb LH heading back to Brissy.
    Think its in Nerang???
Yes it is in Nerang. On a street called Lawrence Drive. It actually runs parallel to the M1, on the surfers side. Easy to find. All shops except the Suzuki shop - that is in Burleigh. I bought some new bike boots from the accessory store - so make sure you don't just look in the bike shops, they have separate accessory stores too. I could've bought a racing suit for $199! - that would've meant I wouldn't have had room for other shopping lol!
    Bikes are really cheap over here. GSXR1000 K4 5,oookm only 8,000. A k7 for only $9500. unbelievable!

Its a great day today, am about to go outside and do some sun bathing - ha ha ha

Yep, spent some time in that road last year. Mainly at the Trumpy dealership and the Ducati one around the block a bit. Was amazed how many new bikes the places had on the floor.
Saw the accessory shops too, went into one had a gander.
Gonna make more of an in depth study this time round as we are'nt taking much in our bags this time round.

That's exactly what I did - everything rattled around on the way over, but its gonna be over full on the way home lol. Just hope I won't be over weight and it'll cost me an arm and a leg..... Lawrence Drive is my favourite place. And I always call into the 50's Headquarters - opposite side of the M1. Another good place to get Trail bike gear and clothes such as Jetpilot, Metal Mullisha, Fox, DVS etc, is Barties - on the main road into Burleigh, off the M1 - not far from the Suzuki shop. I know the GC really well - can you tell?

Indeed, prob as good or better than me.
Especially the bars and restuarants in Broadbeach I know well!
Dont need a map, know how to get everywhere. Will check out the Zooki place for a nosey.
We go over most years for a Winter break and sun.
Got stung 150 bucks for over weight suitcases last year.

EEEK!! hope I don't - that's abit excessive - and as I am travelling by myself, I can't share the weight with anyone either - buggar!! Well, nearly done all the shopping, so its blobbing time until Saturday arvo. Like you, I come over every year. Moved over here last year - that's another story, will fill you in sometime during a ride.

I'm hoping for fine weather on sunday...... praying actually LOL See ya then

Allthis talk about Surfers and Broadbeach all I can afford is a tent at Waimarama and the little bike shops in Hastings and Napier.

    Gee Sorry,

My theory is, if you want something bad enough, you can always make it happen. Nothing wrong with a tent at Waimarama though - or bike rallies.

Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

    Owww thats nice. Thanks W.
Bloody hell you spilt the whole bean jar this time Mr Smith.
It is the plain Jane SV1000s In blue. Not black. I hate the black ones. Did I mention that? So Google SV1000s blue and you will see a gazillion that look like mine Tony. Blue not black.
I had to trade the Gixxer so I could pay for this one Dooly. Things are a bit tight at the moment. Anyway Patrick told me he didn’t like the Gixxer the last time he rode it.
So I have to run this twin in before I can see what it can do. It would have been a new Gixxer but times don’t allow for that, at the moment, so maybe next time. I am keen to try a twin. Very different to the inline 4.
Had 0ks on it at delivery and I ran up 80 or so tonight so another 920 to go before she gets new oil. I think I am going to enjoy this change. Hope Moooo likes the vibration . Not used to that. She could be very tired by the end of a good ride.
Time for sleep. Dream of Zuki things.
