I found one in Milton, Otago but I am guessing we haven't quite got that much time (plus it is a boring short arse straight bit of dead end road).

Oops, sorry, thats just what its nicknamed. It turns off Te Wharau Road where the Gladstone roadrace hillclimb event is held(just past Gladdy school on right). Then carries on further around and back into Masterton. Awesome roads!

do you think there may be room for a geriatric recently retuned rider to pootle along at the end of the group? I seem tp have forgotten the correct and proper way to go round corerns (ie fast) and am happy to sit at the back and wont evn mind if you all disappear into the sunset. I could meet either in F/stn of Marty. What time do you think you will be in those places. And may be weather dependant. My geriatricness seems to have turned me into a fair weather rider. Pity it wasnt today - went for a run the back way from Marty to Gladdie today and it was magic.

Most DEFINITELY, planning to be in Featheston approx 11.45-12.00, can meet you opposite the big red pub (Royal I think?) by the servo at the Martinborough turnoff if you like? I'll be on the Black/white Monster. All weather dependant of course

....theres a mountain of snow on them Rima's at the mo.

A short one to start with

As follows:
MEET PARROT AND JIGGER CARPARK 10.30AM, DEPART 11AM, LUNCH AT GLADSTONE PUB(VIA MARTINBOROUGH, PRINCESS STREET), TIME PERMITTING A LOOP OVER WATER TOWER ROAD.

Hoping some of you Palmy guys'n gals may meet us either for the ride departure, or at the Gladdy Via Pahiatua Track??

Come summertime the rides will be 10 x further......I already have a great overnight trip worked out

(one where the HB group can meet up with us eh Dooly!!!)

Lets hope its a day like today!
