great ride too... apart from that dam loud buell....

    and as for that pub.....

i didn't see ANY sign saying

"slow, there's a pub just over the bridge!!"

was also VERY... VERY tempting to follow the Otaki riders........

but a BBq birthday time for my friend was only JUST a little bit more inviting...

    next time though.....
yip good day all right. Sorted why the bike keeps slipping out on me. WRONG tire size on the back. Looking forward to the next one

What tyres you running on the duke ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I take it by a post above your still scrubbing it in too ? That will get ya sliding up on the hill for sure lol
Starting to wonder bout the 190/55 i spooned on the daytonas 51/2 rim ! I get what feels like a second tip in every now and then, thought it was something up with the front, but am wondering now that it might be the rear causing it !
Might increase the wheelbase a bit, as i can drop the forks down another ten mm to make em flush easy enough and see what happens !

Thanks EVERYONE for a great day!! I was really delighted to see how much support this ride attracted I'll try and choose a slightly warmer one next time for you though eh!

Awesome of you all to brave the cold for our first ride, and cool to meet so many new faces and GREAT bikes

A good hassle free ride all round (apart from a couple of minor incidents) ... a smashed headlight and screen on a certain Monster and a run in with the for a certain Honda rider .....and then there's AJ of course

Cheers Jim and Julz for being the tail enders for me!

Big ups to Wanabiker and Zak for the hospitality afterward (and the patch up on the headlight to get me home)...Awesome garage by the way!

    Crazefox are they 190/55?

I have some telltale pics of some of you which I'll load up soon (I think I spotted something furry in one of them)

Looking forward to the next ride....a promise to the Palmy bunch means we will be clocking up more KM's next time. Details soon and thanks again!

Was a bit cool heading over Mt Bruce on the back way home, in fact prolly the coldest part of the ride (mind you the wind chill was up there too)
Got talking to a bloke in Shannon who had just done the exact loop and he had rain from the hutt to pahiatua, hahaha so we couldn't have timed it better !
Bwahahaha look there goes AJ, everyone wave !!!
Awesome, glad you had a good ride back. Dont worry, AJ had completly lost the plot by the time we all got back.....Its a blond thing eh AJ!

Cheers for bringing more BEARs along too, was great to meet them.
