Some people are great at instigating their own misfortune.

If you log on to KB before you've watched the race you are a loser-in-waiting.

Me - I won't even open my emails and will certainly not go anywhere near KB before I've watched the race........

'They' are the same riders who get (or will get) hit by the car they presumed was going to give them the right of way and stop at the intersection.

The moral of the story. Take nothing for granted.

But hey - WHAT A FUCKING RACE................

Some of us have RSS feeds setup on our home pages. I minimise the race sites the night before a race, but everyone on KB had gotten so good at indicating spoilers that I didn't worry about minimising that section.

About 12 laps out from the finish exiting a few corners from the start/finish line thay had comparisons up of Lorenzo and Rossi's Throttle and brake responces. i thought it was weird that rossi was 3/4 throttle down the brief straight away where as Lorenzo was full throttle and maintaining that the whole distance eventually enabling him to overtake. I was a bit WTF at that.

    Thoughts?

1)Mine are, Rossi chewed through too much gas at the start of the race and the bike was backing off a bit.

    2) Rossi wanted to put the learn on the student and just remind people and can make a move where he wants when he wants.

Subtley starting the mind games a little early this season.

that was up there with laguna 08 awesome...

And seriously, asif come onto a forum a click on the racing link before you've seen the racing. I ignored txt's from people i knew that would have seen it and didn't visit websites likely to have result till i had downloaded it.

    Sad but true.

Two people had intimated to me that the race was special so I avoided parts of KiwiBiker, radio, TV, and every other possible spoiler until I sat down to watch the races.

Brilliant! Might even have to watch it again tonight...

Yeah. Call me paranoid. I even avoid the Radio News??????????????

As if they would have bothered reporting the event - unless of course, someone was killed or maimed.

Im the same way with tv1 and tv3's news. I can watch that fairly confidently and know they won't ruin it because they never show anything of interest, it's all about bain swine flu and rugby.

I thnk a tiddley winks championship would probably get coverage before Bike racing did.

All of the above I think....Rossi made an interesting comment I thought after the race when he said been "thinking about that last pass for 2 weeks before the race".....is that planning or what ! I 'spose at that level & having spent so many hours on these tracks that the riders must have a very good idea of where opportunities may arise & that alot of the practice sessions would be working out where they need to be under such & such a set of circumstances.....awesome!!

Just another day at the office for Rossi, it makes discovering my cluster problem was caused by a bug in ping seem pretty unexciting now

I'm a huge Rossi fan and I'm thrilled that he won in such a brilliant fashion but man Lorenzo... what a huge step up for him.

That's a race long duel with the GOAT standing toe to toe trading punches on an identical bike and to me he looked less ragged than Rossi at the end!

OK it's a Spaniard in Spain but still... he knows he can do it now... going to be an interesting season

A lot of us would use the show all 'new posts' button each day. Obviously All post - even race ones come up. Not a Problem if the "Spoiler" system is used.

Some of us don't get to see the race till 5 or 6 days later.
You expect us to stay off KB THAT Long?!!!
