And the other talking point of the race...

Julian Simon in the 125's crossing the line the clear leader with a lap to go only he thinks the race is over.

Bugger!!! That would suck. I missed the 125 race, and after recording GP, am wrapped that Rossi did it for the 99th time!!!!!! Was sitting on the edge of the couch .... "the master and the apprentice " you got that right!

Whats the bet, that if Rossi and lorenzo end up doing such close battles im the future, that Lorenzo will make a mistake costing them both?

Seems pretty likely to me. It seemed to me that Rossi was baiting him into a crash the whole race.

First with the attempt to gap Lorenzo from the start.
Second by letting him past to see if Lorenzo would crash trying to gap Rossi.
Third by passing on the 4th to last lap, letting him slipstream past on the next lap then showing him some late braking skills.

Rossi isn't stupid enough to make a move that far from the finish without a plan so he was obviously playing mind games. I think Lorenzo dug deeper than he expected though.

You gotta feel for Lorenzo as he must have thought he'd done enough.

How was Lorenzo muttering "wait till the next one" after Rossi gave him a hug after the race He wasn't a happy camper.

Lorenzo IS THE NEXT ROSSI But just needs another full season to smooth things out a bit I think
