By the way I don't believe it's illegal to ride down there. There is access after all, and wouldn't it be classified as a road? So unless you were doing stupid shit you should be ok to ride to down there.

Or are there special rules about the pier?

No I didn't I'm afraid. I was too busy running around trying to not destroy my bike lol. I had to position it so carefully against the column.

I enjoyed following the single tyre track though, that made everything so epic!

As soon as I saw the photo and read the thread I actually sprinted to get my gear on and get the bike out and leave.
Same when I got home, I actually didn't take off my helmet til I had uploaded the photo I was in such a hurry.
