BTW, the RF does'nt do bad burn outs actually, lap of Manfeild was pretty slow due to the lack of rear grip after the burn out and Yod was riding a bit average that day. Don't worry Yod, we all have our off days...
bad days??? Ive never seen someone drop a bike so many times in one day!

Quite. But I thought that you were making quite a good job of nailing the fairing back together and the exhaust looks so much better pointing straight up. Good luck getting the front wheel out of the radiator and trying to get the footpegs level with one another...

Yeah, you're supposed to keep one wheel on the ground at all times - not alternate between the two repeatedly until the bike comes to a halt.

Nothing to worry about Al, loaner bikes have that effect on people (Yod's babysitting Lee's RF, does GOOD burnouts)

That's ok then! I was just worried that Yod may have scuffed his nice Tecknic jacket!

I'd love to Al, but I've got my mates surprise 40th tonight! My ex house guest from hell is going to be there, but thank god he's not staying with us.

Tracy just informed me that she'd go to the Rat do and take notes for me.

OK. We're prob heading over to Wanga's later on, not quite sure what time. Hopefully taking the bikes if the weather's OK. If not we'll take a car, Tracy is welcome to come with us if she likes? All welcome, should be a good night

Heading over for a cafe run after a shower and so forth, should hit Palmy 'round 11:45 after a fuel up and general pissing about. Thought if the weather was ok and had pretty much dry roads I might do the Halcome/V Hill loop, anyone keen? Will check back here before I head off and i'll have my cell phone on that 'ill check when I stop.

Cheers Al, but I'm not letting her off that easy. I understand her not wanting to go to the 40th though!

Try a rolling burnout into a nice high wheel stand... so much fun! lack of tread causes the rather tasty burnout but as it heats up and you transfer a little weight rearward in a quick snap it grips and lofts the front.

    Childish yes...

    Fun...hell yes,
but only if the tyre is already pretty much terminal. And as I have somehow managed to reduce a rear to showing over 10 strands of belt uninterrupted the entire way round the tyre, I think the patient is a goner...
