Was a great ride today. 11 bikes in total, 8 V Twins, 4 of which were HONDAS (3 Firestorms and a very nice SP2)!

Madcow lead the way, George keeping an eye on the rear (I think he counted Bikes better this time Dooly) .

We ended up at the Speights Alehouse for some cold water, spiked with hops and grapes.

Like all who got out today, Taihape and back was primo! Nothing wrong with the road ( tad muddy in parts) seen worse on road works around town. This side is a disgrace compaired with what the road is like on the other side.More tarseal has been laid, from Taihape 52km before first gravel and thats even good for 60/70 k speeds. Great enjoyable day with excellant company.

Yet again, bloody work precluded me from riding today, I was really looking forward to it too, being such a good'un an' all! Still, this work thing lets me get "things" for my little scooter! so that is the up-side, if I remember how to ride it that is! Hope to see you lot next weekend, actually if it is fine tomorrow I will go for a squirt to try out a little mod I have done, see what the morn brings I guess!

I bet you can’t ride my pants off. As I am married and have been for 26 years these pants stay on.

As for riding faster than me…. Yes you would go faster for longer and I would be left well behind. However that is no challenge as most people can out ride me. When you get to my age you too will realise that funerals for friends are far too common. And as we have just had Scotts memorial it brings it to mind that we can all come unstuck. I am pleased to see you put the rides on and run good events. Well done.

While we are having a bitch at each other, I , like George, am not so keen on your Avatar, but it is a free country and you are free to choose. I am not sure it is what you need to do to get recognition. Your riding ability is a class above most so I thought you might have gained that recognition with out the Avatar.

If I offended by the name I apologise. Was meant to be a little banter. However as I don’t know you or One fast TL1000, I will leave the banter out..

Happy riding and thanks for putting good rides on.

Nice wite up Stevee ! Youll notice by the awfull Video over exposed for some reason could have been due to the sun. This only a clip I videoed the whole run.
It was a real good ride and various stops to wiat for me but I gave up Caffe raceing 45 years ago, I no I ride fast but far out. You blokes ride well oh and crazy.....horse, yep it would be good to see you people raceing at the VMCC series. I just about cut me back tyre out.
Good to be out with a few more bikes though, I've wrote me bike off once and I aint want to do it again, cost to much to put back together again.
Thanks Dale for waiting, just as well I,m slow cos you would have lost us.

Good to see you all had a great ride. Traffic's insane here, hate to be on a bike in the middle of here regularly.
