    Ahhh shit, ment to post this a month ago... a work mate is in a band that DONT play covers, but only there own heavy rock called N.E.D now they played last Friday night at the Dux De Lux, I ment to get it posted befor then incase anyone wanted to scout em out.
    Any ways, whats ya feelings of having them play at the 09er rally?

    All respect to them for playing their own stuff, however...

    Going by rally and KB-do experiences so far I'd be willing to wager a sizeable amount that people won't be so much in "music appreciation" mode as in "get wasted and rock out to the well known tunes (done well mind)" mode.

    That said, if they came and played their own stuff - but weren't afraid to mix in the odd cover it could be quite good. I'm just thinking about the number of times I've been to music festivals where upcoming bands, so busy playing only their own original stuff, absolutely fail to get the crowd going besides the one or two well known hits they might have...
    It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

    i agree, best to have music that you can sing along too while have'n a few cos we're all rock stars don't you know. and we can all dance like the devil!!!!!

    after a few bourbons or rum yah can sing along to anything... whether you heard it before or not... if the music is got doesn't make any difference.
