Mark, your lessons have been so awesome. I'm sure the reason I haven't had a bin is because of NASS. Really appreciate all the time and effort you've put in (same goes for others who have taken NASS).
I think everyone is over their shiny new big bikes now... so maybe we will be better at concentrating on the lesson from now on??
By the way, a shameless plug: everyone please look at my signature & someone buy my bike![]()
well if i can get my bike started i will be there tomorrow!!!! stupid mufer.......@#$% angry Steve
Stupid Cycletreads.! !@#$ *grumble*
Damn straight.... I'll be there! Keen to do some slow racing as I haven't done that yet (sounds like fun!) perhaps we shouldn't do the e-braking this time round though (eh sammy)
I'm keen for slow racing![]()
His batelly dead. he need push.
Suzuki FTW![]()
looks like a lose connection in the wireing loom somwhere. Badger is coming round at 4 or so to see if we can get it started
Suzuki FTW!![]()
All that pushing ... you dont need to go to the gym, just take the bike for a push for half an hour every morning. You will be a Silvester Stalone lookalike in no time![]()
Totally agree with this !!!! (other than for the not having a bin bit!)
Mark / Richard (and Dawn, when she bothers her arse to show up !) I've been coming to the NASS nights for nearly a year now, and have found them totally invaluable... I am extremely grateful for all your efforts, and the time you guys give up...
I think what might be useful, is that those of us that sometimes end up standing around and chatting, before shortly buggering off to the pub.. if we have a chat before hand, and decide if we up for that evenings activities, if so, we join in, and do it properly, if not, then we go off for a ride, and go to the pub.... that way, we don't end up detracting from the training going on (cause none of us want that in the first place...)
For me, the NASS nights are a combination of 2 things...
1, the training, learning new skills, brushing up one older ones...
2, the social side.... having a laugh with like minded people, (except Fizbin, no one want's to be like minded with him !), and having a beer, and taking the piss out of Cain's virginity !
Some days, I wan't one of those more than the other... but really don't want to detract from other's training !![]()
I agree with Slyguy - Mark's coaching and helpful tips has made such a difference to my riding and given me so much more confidence
Perhaps when we get to Albany we ask the group what they'd like to focus on and mix up the training with some games to keep it interesting
I'd like to practice counter-steering if possible!
And if people want the night to last longer - perhaps go for another ride somewhere at the end of the night? - thoughts?
